PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Services 1, 12, 22, 39, 40, 62 and 63 will take you to the Bus Stop outside or opposite St. Dominic’s Priory on New Bridge Street – look for The Tanners Arms pub and turn down Stepney Bank on the right of the pub, follow the road downhill to the heart of Ouseburn.

The yellow Quaylink bus, Q3, from Newcastle city Centre (Market Street near Grey’s Monument) will drop you off on City Road (Just after East Quayside Sandgate stop in the timetable). Turn left along Cut Bank, then left again on Lime St to the heart of Ouseburn.

Ouseburn is located between two Metro stations – Manors (0.7 miles from the centre of Ouseburn) and Byker (0.9 miles from the centre of Ouseburn).

PARKING

Street parking on Lime Street, the Ouseburn Central Car Park on Foundry Lane, and the Ouseburn South Car Park next to The Cycle Hub on the Quayside is 40p per hour up to a maximum stay of four hours. The Ouseburn Arches car park under the Byker Bridge arches, on the corner of Lime Street and Stepney Bank is £1 for the first hour then 80p an hour up to a maximum stay of four hours. The meter accepts payment by debit or credit card only (or pay cash in Ouseburn Trust office at 53 Lime Street). There are disabled parking spaces in the Arches car park, outside Ouseburn Farm and on Foundry Lane.

There are many restaurants, bars and cafes located near to The Cluny Works making it an ideal place to work, to enjoy lunch time strolls along the river, and for a quick lunchtime bite or drink after work. Places include the The Cluny Bar which also offers live music, Cookhouse, Ernest, Kiln, The Ship Inn, Free Trade Inn, Miso, The Tanners Arms, Brinkburn Brewery, the Cumberland Arms, Hotel du Vin and lots of other little finds along the way – you and your staff are spoilt for choice!
